Dr. Angela Razza
Dr. Razza graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. After working in research with the Comparative Biomedical Institute, where she was trained in advanced reproductive surgeries, Dr. Razza decided to pursue veterinary medicine for the sole purpose of becoming a small animal surgeon. She returned to North Carolina State University to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and she continuously grows her surgical skillset through hands-on training courses across the United States and internationally. She is also a member of the Veterinary Orthopedic Society.
Dr. Razza offers a variety of advanced soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, with a special interest in treating Cranial Cruciate Ligament injuries. The most rewarding aspect of her career is restoring mobility and alleviating pain so that pets can return to a full and active life. Dr. Razza is a Fear Free certified professional who prioritizes the emotional well-being of her patients. She sees herself not just as a surgeon, but as a dedicated caretaker who strives to eliminate the stress and anxiety often associated with hospital visits.
She relocated from North Carolina with her husband and their dog daughter, Sam. Outside of work, she enjoys art, reading/writing, hiking, construction, and spending time with her family.
