Sparky

Sparky

Sparky crossed the rainbow bridge on November 3rd 2023 after a long and happy life. He was over 16 years old. Sparky was 6 months old when we got him from a reputable yorkie breeder in the area. He was good-natured and loveable but didn’t like to be held long. Many things made Sparky special to us. He loved to play, loved to go on walks, he at first didn’t like the car but eventually like to go when the word “bye-bye” was said, just to name a few that made Sparky special to us. Our favorite memory, again one of many, is how he loved to play with cantaloupe as if it was a ball. It wasn’t nearly ripe yet so we would put it on the floor and let him roll it around. It was so cute to watch him! Sparky’s favorite things to do was play with his ball. We would hide it behind our back till he would bark and we’d finally give it to him. We’d toss the ball and he’d run for it, but would never bring it back, (So we had to go fetch)! Sparky would love to get the ice from the ice chest by trying to get in before we could close the lid. He loved ice and would beg for some whenever the cooler was packed or when we would put ice in our cups for a beverage. He loved his tummy rubbed, or gentle massages on his neck. We miss you so much Sparky! You gave us memories that will last us a lifetime. Sammy misses you too and at first had trouble eating without you home. Our hearts are breaking now but we know with each passing day that eventually we will again smile at the thought of you and ALL the great times we all had together! Sparky, we will love you always and forever! Mommy, Daddy, and your little brother Sammy!
