Shadow

Shadow Walton

Shadow Walton crossed the rainbow bridge on March 20th 2023 after a fight with oral cancer. She was 11 and a half years old at the time of her passing.  Shadow came into the Walton family after she was adopted as a puppy. We loved to call Shadow ‘sweet but sassy’. She loved to be pet, but would growl if she was hugged. She had some hip problems her entire life, but that didn’t stop her from running around the yard with her little dog “sister”, Luna. Shadow loved laying outside in all types of weather and it was usually difficult to bring her inside. She was very tolerant of the kids in the family and they loved sitting next to her to try and play. One of our favorite memories is when Shadow and her human dad drove me home when we first started dating. She would climb all the way onto my lap. If I had fries, I would give her one and she would shake it before eating. Her favorite thing to do was to lay outside and chase squirrels. Shadow, you are already deeply missed. Our hearts and home feel emptier without you here. Luna misses having her buddy chase her around the yard, trying to attack you as you come downstairs in the morning. The kids miss you begging for their food, and we miss seeing you cuddle into your dog bed for the night. You were such a good dog. We hope you are enjoying your endless fries up across the rainbow bridge and hope to see you again soon. Check in on us every once in a while!
